  • Hawkins Tri-ply Stainless Steel Cookware is made to give you the advantages of cooking in a stainless steel while removing the disadvantages of sticking and burning that comes with normal stainless steel.
  •  Cooking Surface: Made from 18/8 food-grade (AISI 304) stainless steel of superior quality, the cooking surface is extremely hygienic, very durable, does not react with most foods, does not pit or corrode.
  • Core: The heavy gauge aluminum core spreads heat well for even cooking with no hot spots, and retains heat for quick cooking, batch after batch. It is sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel and does not come in contact with food on the cooking surface.
  • Base and Outer Surface: The base and outer surface is made of AISI 430 grade, magnetic stainless steel. The Cookware can hence be used on all domestic gas, induction, electric, ceramic and halogen cooktops.

Description

  • It is extremely durable, well balanced, does not bulge or warp, stays flat for quick cooking on induction or electric cooktop.
  • The unique shape with a flat base and gentle sloping sides has just the right curvature for optimal cooking results – oil does not pool in the centre, nor does it spill over the sides, which helps in even and safe cooking.
  • The strong 6.0 mm thick stainless steel stay-cool wire handle to the tava, is comfortable and safe to hold even when the tava is hot, through out the cooking process. The holding zone is marked on the handle, “WHEN HOT HOLD BEYOND THESE LINES”.
  • Four sturdy stainless steel rivets firmly attach the stay-cool wire handle to the tava, to give you a handle that will never get loose or unsteady. The placement of the rivets is carefully designed to maximize the cooking area.
